Since the tender age of seven, William knew just what he wanted to do in life.  He wanted to be of service to others. A sixth generation funeral service provider, William attended The American Academy, McAllister Institute of funeral science. William flourished in the care center setting.  William served his apprenticeship at The Joseph P. Reardon Funeral home in Ventura and finishing with Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier. 

William is a certified Funeral Arranger with the California Funeral Director's Association. He is also a certified Funeral Celebrant, and can assist any family of any denomination with a funeral service tailored to their needs.

In 2006 William became a certified Crime Scene DECON TECH, which he still is to this day. William has a passion for mortuary service and transportation and since 1990 has made serving others his first priority.

William is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  As a father of four beautiful children, and husband to the most amazing wife, William cherishes his family and spending time with those he loves most.

Shawn Phillip Smith

A Dedicated Entrepreneur & Community Advocate. As a respected business owner and operator of First Choice Mortuary Transportation Service in California and Nevada, Shawn Phillip Smith serves his community with unwavering compassion and professionalism. A Ventura native, Shawn graduated from Ventura High School and continued his education at Ventura College. With 17 years of experience in mixed martial arts, Shawn embodies discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. His commitment to giving back is evident through his church volunteer work. In his free time, Shawn thrives on sharing adventures with friends and riding his BMX bike. Shawn's helpful, caring, and kind nature fosters strong relationships and positively impacts those around him. His dedication to community and passion for life define his character.
